OUR MISSION:

We believe non-English speakers deserve quality apostolic resources in their own language. For the Church is to accomplish its mission to reach all nations with the Gospel, we need discipleship and doctrinal materials available in every language. It is important that discipleship materials connect on a spiritual and emotional level, and that they be culturally relevant. Doctrine particularly is very difficult to teach/learn in a second language, and the Church needs national workers in each country who have a solid knowledge of apostolic doctrine.

  • Top languages spoken in the USA: English, Spanish, Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin), Tagalog, Vietnamese, French
  • Top languages spoken in Canada: English, French, Mandarin, Cantonese, Punjabi
  • Top languages spoken in the world: English, Mandarin, Hindi, Spanish, French, Arabic, Bengali, Russian, Portuguese, Indonesian

NTS will serve as a hub to connect Sponsors, Authors and Translators, with the goal of creating an apostolic library in every language. We intend to make translated resources available online as free PDF downloads, as well as on Amazon in print and e-book versions at reasonable prices.

SPONSORS: While we incorporate volunteers as much as possible, there are ongoing costs for expenses such as software, training, publishing and labor (especially revision). Your financial support is the key to accelerating our vision of creating an apostolic library in every language. You can Donate Here through our partner, Capital Mission Centre. Canadian Income tax receipts are provided at the end of each calendar year for donations of $50 or higher.

AUTHORS: We are seeking mission-minded authors willing to allow NTS to arrange translation of their books into other languages, with quality control and translator training. NTS will arrange sponsors for all costs involved in translating, training translators, editing, distribution of free PDF versions of translated books, and publishing on Amazon. In return, these authors waive royalties on sales of translated books, provided the proceeds are reinvested in apostolic translation.

TRANSLATORS: We have found that a team translation approach is the best way to produce cost-effective high-quality translations of apostolic resources. We have developed a system to launch a translation team in a specific language with only 5 people who each commit 3 hours per week. This makes translation feasible in any context, since the team members do not have to be local. Liane R. Grant’s practical book published after five years of doctoral research, The 3-Hour Translation Team, is now available on Amazon.

Under Liane’s direction, over the last few years, The King’s Translators has translated over 5 million words of apostolic resources into French at a fraction of the cost to hire professional translators. We have published 100 books on Amazon. And people have been eager to donate to this cause because of the impact it is having. From brochures to study guides to textbooks, our editing system ensures quality translations. And our unique concentrated training system teaches bilinguals to think like translators… in any language.

We will be adding more material regularly to this website, but for now be sure to check out the helpful articles in our Translation Blog. And don’t forget to download your free “Translation Team Finder” to help you identify potential members for your nonprofit translation team.
